On an average of once a week, Joyce Plath spends a few hours advising a home owner on remodeling or addition options. These projects range from small adjustments to major renovations. Joyce begins with a two hour site visit that includes discussion with the owner, exploration of the parameters of the project and some preliminary proposals. All of her consulting focuses on retaining as much as possible of the existing structure, blending with existing architectural style, and incorporating all appropriate design patterns. Special emphasis is given to increasing natural lighting, improving circulation patterns, and increased energy efficiency.
