Joyce Plath  has averaged designing four to six homes a year for the past twenty-six years. SIngle-family homes have been the core of Joyce's design career, and are something that she truly enjoys doing.

"When we decided to have a custom home designed, we expected a tedious process. Incorporating the things we needed and wanted, and thinking about all the possibilities seemed overwhelming and confusing. Joyce made sense out of our chaos and kept the process “light”. She addressed the needs we expressed to her (such as an at-home office and room for guests) as well as needs we didn’t know we had (such as traffic flow management for small children and “acoustically separate” spaces). The result is a home that is very functional and easy to live in. Additionally, the home is beautiful and filled with natural light.
